著名宗教哲学专家和维特根斯斯坦研究专家、雅典大学教授Stelios Virvidakis将于11月2日起在武汉大学欧美宗教文化研究所讲授“维特根斯坦与当代宗教哲学”课程，为期1个月。请有意选课的同学先行下载课程材料，做必要的预习。

    Virvidakis教授1955年生于雅典，在雅典大学获得哲学学士学位（BA，1978），巴黎一大硕士（1980），普林斯顿大学哲学博士学位（1984）。先后在the American College of Greece (1986-1990)、the Technical University of Crete (Spring 1988), the University of Crete (Fall 1988), the University of Thessaloniki (1991 - 1994), the University of Rennes I (January 2001), the University of Cyprus (Fall 2005), the University of Grenoble (November 2012) 和the University of Athens (1994 – 到至今)教授哲学，2005年起，为雅典大学哲学教授。
    Virvidakis教授是希腊卓有声望的学者，在欧洲影响很大，以英文和法文发表了80余篇哲学论文，出版过多部专著，并编写过希腊中学哲学教材。他的一些论文被翻译成中文、土耳其文和捷克文发表。他是国际哲学联合会执委（the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Philosophiques (FISP)）。2006年法国政府授予他“一级教育骑士”（ the title of Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques）。
